Fantastic Beasts re-brands to better reflect its mission

Fantastic Beasts TV, the video-first SaaS platform for discovery of the people behind the pitch deck, has re-branded this week with a name to more clearly capture and communicate its activities, and a strapline to emphasise the front-and-centre nature of its diversity, equality and inclusivity mission.

Benny Lee, co-founder and Cheif Content Officer commented “We’re still very much about helping investors to discover the unicorns and centaurs referenced in our original name, but we feel that the DEI agenda is important and we’re busy building into the platform new tools and features that will help investors to keep a balanced portfolio, and help under-represented founders – women in particular- to overcome some of the challenges they face in raising the first funding round“.

The re-brand follows the launch last week of PitchChannel(TM), the company’s live stream distribution service for demo days around the world.  In its first week, PitchChannel hosted some 200 companies from 25 countries.

PitchChannel complements PitchBase, the on-demand pitch discovery and access feature; and PitchCast, the company’s free-of-charge live stream production service, which has recently been re-activated with the return of in-person live pitching events.  The first post-lockdown event is scheduled for the autumn, to produce the live stream for one of the UK’s leading angel syndicates.
